DUMMIES DAILY is an outgrowth of the famous series of yellow-covered books that started w-a-y back in the pre-Linux computer dark ages with the famous title, "DOS for Dummies." And no, you don't have to be a dummy to subscribe.
But they don't give an intelligence check, either. All they do is send you a daily easily-digested tip about some aspect of computing and/or the Internet. There's a series of checkboxes on the "subscribe" page of the Website that lets you choose only those subjects that are interest to you so that your e-mail inbox doesn't get overly full.
Here's a sample tip, from the "Front Page" section:
Want to check out your links to be sure they work? If you hold down the Ctrl key while you click on the link, it will jump you to the linked location.
Another way to do the same thing?
- Right click on the link and choose Follow Hyperlink.

And for Windows-heads planning to take the MCSE certification exams in the near future, they have a nice little daily "Pop Quiz" to which you can subscribe, too. MCSE For Dummies(tm) has sort of a nice ring to it, doesn't it?
