If you're a teacher, you'll get a kick out of perusing the messages on this mailing list and visiting the teacher-created sites out there. Heck, even if you're not a teacher, you may enjoy a little voyeuristic peek at the world of education online.
The list is busy and crowded, but the topics and links discussed could come in handy for teachers and all us regular people who just want some great tools for Web building.
There is also some interesting philosophical discussion about teachers and technology. For instance:
"You can have great professional development, but unless teachers can get benefits early in technology use, they will drop out. Teachers only have so much time and they have to discover that in the long run using technology, ClassWebs, the Internet, etc., will be time efficient. As a tech. facilitator, I find myself looking for ideas on how to do this all the time! We also use students to help teachers develop Web pages in some cases, but I find that by the time they tell the students what they want on the page and prepare the material, they could have posted it themselves and learn how easy it is to update their pages. I would be interested in other ideas on this topic."
