Web_Window calls itself a safe place. It's a group for Christian believers to get together and talk about pretty much anything their hearts desire. They definitely get a lot of talking done.
Last month there were over 800 messages posted on this fairly new mailing list. There are just over 100 members, so they're a chatty bunch.
The messages are mostly of the variety which you might cull to gather good e-mails to forward to everyone in your address book, if you're inclined toward that kind of thing. I have a few friends who would love it - but I don't think I'll tell them about the Web_Window mailing list. I already get plenty of forwarded e-mail.
Here's a sample message:
A SHORT HISTORY OF MEDICINE:
"Doctor, I have an ear ache."
2000 BC - "Here, eat this root."
1000 BC - "That root is heathen, say this prayer."
1850 AD - "That prayer is superstition, drink this potion."
1940 AD - "That potion is snake oil, swallow this pill."
1985 AD - "That pill is ineffective, take this antibiotic."
2000 AD - "That antibiotic is artificial. Here, eat this root!"
