Linux newbies is a breed we're certainly not going to run out of anytime soon, especially with the alternative OS's burgeoning popularity. Here's a place where the clueless can stop by and learn from the ancient ones - hopefully.
Hopefully, I say, because the only way this mailing list will work is if it is populated by a proper mix of newbies and those more experienced. Since the list itself was started by a newbie, there's no guarantee of mentorship.
However, it does appear that questions get answers, and there is a decent archive that is open to non-subscribers. The best thing to do is go check out the older messages to see if your question has already been answered. If not, sign up and ask away.
