About CHILDRENWORLD: Every so often, I like to be able to recommend a "Family Friendly" site to my readers. It bothers me that this medium that I so love is made out by Clueless People, especially in governmental positions, to be the spawning ground of detriment for young people --- while they ignore all the value and great information here. So I go to Web sites and lists like childrenworld with high hopes. In this case, instead of finding a great resource, I found exploitation and tackiness.
When I dropped into the Web site which sponsors the list, I found another example of someone who appears to believe that by glomming onto the "For the Children" motto, they can hook eyeballs on the Web. And when you get there, it's another of those every free-for-all under the sun extravaganzas. Most egregiously, they have a link to that "Get Viagra Online Now" site that you are bound to run into on any of these tacky Web projects.
Let me ask you a question, Gentle Reader: WHAT IS A LINK TO VIAGRA PRESCRIPTIONS DOING ON A SITE FOR CHILDREN? Need I say more?

I'll repeat myself: that was a partial list. Now why do I have the sense that this supposed "Universal Children Christian Network" has kids as AN AFTERTHOUGHT? Gosh, I don't know.
What I do know is that I can't recommend this list or site to you in good conscience. I felt sad just seeing this project on the Web. Not Recommended.
