ITMETHODS is the newsletter of the Methodology.org Web site, a site dedicated to offer news, assistance, and resources for IT professionals, with an emphasis on programming. The site itself is quite diverse and chock full of information, including links to international IT conferences. The newsletter is a discussion list in which IT professionals can consult with each other on the day-to-day issues they face or explore new developments in their industry.
Here's an example of posts from a recent edition in the archives:

"Subject: Kimbel Methodology
"Hi Folks,
"This might be a dumb question. Has anyone heard of the Kimble methodology?
"If anyone could direct me to a site which has documentation on the Kimbel methodology it would be highly appreciated.
"Regards,

"Ralph Kimbal has developed, refined and promoted the star schema and is an authority in data warehousing and data mart design. His most recent book 'The Data Warhouse Lifecycle Toolkit' is framed as a hybrid methodology and textbook, focusing on his approach (more emphasis on technique rather than programmatics) which is widely accepted in the industry.
"Your best bet is to go get the book, and form your own impression.

My impression, checking the archives, is that this is a very active discussion list with postings entered almost every day. Even if you don't think the list is for you, if you're interested in or involved with technical issues, the Methodology.org Web site looks like a resource you might want to consider adding to your Favorites/Bookmarks list. Check it out.
