There must be someone, somewhere, who has drawn a schematic during the last decade without using AutoCAD, but we have not met this person. AutoCAD was "the" killer app for engineers, and it still is. This is a chatty newsletter for AutoCAD users.
We say chatty because KRZYSZTOF TRELSKI, editor and publisher, does not seem to feel confined to AutoCAD-related news, but rather to news he seems to feel will interest AutoCAD users.
Sure there's plenty of "help me" questions and answers about AutoCAD, and plenty of news about new releases, plug-ins, and all the rest you'd expect from an independent newsletter about a major software product. But there are also other snippets, like talk of Bill Gates and Microsoft, news of child porn online and efforts to fight against it, and plenty of jokes, general conversation, and other bits of interest that keep things from getting too dull.
The associated Website, for the AutoCAD Users Group, is another fine resource. Not only does it contain plenty of AutoCAD-related info and pointers to many other AutoCAD-oriented Websites, but also a fine selection of job listings and an interactive forum area where your participation is more than welcome.
