A-CLUE.COM is one of our all-time favorites. We really, really like Dana Blankenhorn, the man behind it. We've been reading his work for years and have always found it insightful, accurate, and witty.
Dana is semi-famous for his habit of declaring a given Internet company or individual either "clued in" or "clueless" based on recent actions. While this may sound like a jokey gimmick -- and it is -- there's always hard-nuts truth behind Dana's selections.
But let's let Dana speak for himself about A-CLUE.COM: "Every week editor Dana Blankenhorn delivers a quick guide to the week's headlines, telling who's got a Clue, and who is Clueless, based on his 20 years of experience as a business reporter (he was founder and chief correspondent for the 'Interactive Age Daily', senior editor at NetGuide, a bureau chief for Newsbytes, co-author of five books, etc. etc.)."
Heavy creds! And in third-person, no less.
But also a light touch. Even if a given weekly subject in A-CLUE.COM isn't of interest to you, you'll still find Dana's take on it interesting. You'll also get a laugh or two every week as Dana pricks an industry balloon, which he does with so much reglarity, and with such a sharp, well-aimed journalistic pin that we can almost hear "Pop! Pop! Pop!" in our heads as we look at our5 monitors.
At the risk of descending into gushiness, we'd like to strongly recommend a subscription to A-CLUE.COM if you are involved in the Internet business in any way.
