Okay, admit it. Besides working at your computer, you sneak away and play with Nintendo. Don't be ashamed. You're one of millions with this habit. In fact, there's a whole mailing list full of Nintendo 64 devotees who swap game tips and pointers all day long. They've been doing this for many months. You might as well join them. We would -- if we weren't so serious here at TechMailings that we never, never play games. At least during working hours.
The volume on 64NINTENDO isn't too large, and it isn't too small. It's right in the middle, with an average of about four posts per day. That's more than enough to keep you up on most new game releases and other Nintendo-type news.
But the heart of the list is "game tricks" Q and A. Like this:
Question:
Subject: Re: Egyptian temple
I don't know what steps to take to get the glass covering the golden gun.
Answer:
Subject: Re: Egyptian temple
To get to the Golden Gun,you have to do these steps on the tiles: Up,left, left,up,up,three right, two up,left,up,left,up,up,right
See how easy that was? How much frustration just got relieved? And how much of an ego boost the person who gave the answer got by displaying his or her mastery (mistressy?) of the game?
Subscribe to 64NINTENDO and a bit of this good feeling can come your way every day.
