This list is a general, all-around helper for all kinds of applications, including programs developed for Windows and Apple OS.
The list is not a busy one. You may even forget you've subscribed to it between messages. I'm on a few lists like that. But the messages that do come through are generally useful; questions are answered quickly, and you can search the public archives to find past solutions that may benefit you.
This is another OneList mailing list, so you don't even have to have the messages delivered to you via e-mail. You can just visit OneList, look at what interests you, and leave the rest. Here's a sample message:
"Have you ever wished you could take back something you said? Well here's some good news: Outlook allows you to recall an e-mail message that you sent to another Outlook user!
"This feature works only if the message you're trying to recall hasn't yet been opened by the receiver. To recall a sent message, open the Sent Items folder, then open the message that you want to recall.
"From the Tools menu, choose Recall This Message.
From the Recall This Message dialog box, you can choose to simply delete unread copies of the message, or you can replace unread copies of the message with a brand new message.
"You can also request to be notified whether the message recall was successful. Once you've selected the options you want, click OK and Outlook will attempt to recall the message you selected.
"By the way; the above only works if you are an intranet. This will NOT work with regular e-mail...too bad!"
