I did a tour of the Web site and checked out a sample of the newsletter. I was not overwhelmed.

Considering the hundreds, if not thousands yet, of sites which offer deals on hardware, software and peripherals, I did not find Buy Buddy outstanding. The pricing is competitive. But, as an example, when I clicked on the desktop hardware link, all I found were the various flavors of iMac. "Where are the Wintel offerings?" I asked.

I didn't have the patience to dig deeper or click around until I found them. Buy Buddy could have made this easier for me.

That said, the fact they do put out a weekly update of their deals is a good service. More on-line retailers should offer a service like this one, alerting you when the specific product you might want is available.

I was surprised not to find "The Kitchen Sink" listed. So if you're in the market for hardware buys, you might want to subscribe to the Buy Buddy newsletter. You might find a sweet deal.
