This is a real down-home publication. It's the Farmers' Market newsletter, and you can learn all about country techniques for everything from weighing pigs, to preserving fish, to cooking up a home-brewed aphrodisiac.
Yes, that's right. If you subscribe to this newsletter, you just might get luckier. Did you know that sarsaparilla increases testosterone production in men? Like men need aphrodisiacs. To hear tell, they really ought to come up with more aphrodisiacs for women, not men.
Anyway, here's what it says to do:
"The root of sarsaparilla increases testosterone production in men and stimulates their glands when consumed in a tea or tonic, according to herbalist Diana De Luca."
To prepare a sarsaparilla tea, simmer two teaspoons of sarsaparilla in a cup of water for 7-10 minutes. Strain the tea, then sweeten with honey or maple syrup."
To make a sarsaparilla elixir, steep sarsaparilla roots in brandy with honey and favorite spices."
Now, we just have to figure out where to get sarsaparilla roots. Anybody have a farmer's market nearby?
