The LNDLS (Lotus Notes, Domino & Learning Space) newsletter is a forum of users of these programs based in London, U.K., but is open to all users of Notes. If this is you, you might want to take a look at what your counterparts in London are discussing, what solutions they have devised, or share a solution of your own.
Though Notes remains a quite controversial application, with both its pro- and opponents, it's widely used in many enterprises, so a group like this one is very active.
When I checked the archives of this group, I found postings like these:
"Good morning,
"My name is Kate O------ , I'm new to the lndls list and I hope that members may be able to help with a specific query. Technical support staff at the L-------- are in the process of evaluating potential electronical mail/groupware systems to replace our existing setup, and one candidate we are considering is Lotus Domino Mailserver and Notes.
"As we are a Novell Netware based site, we would be really grateful to find out if anyone on the list has experience of running Domino and Notes in a Netware (rather than an NT) environment with a view to getting some feedback about implementation and management of this combination.
"From browsing the list archives, I notice that the emphasis appears to be on using Domino/Notes as a distance-based learning tool but would be grateful for any advice or pointers that members can give.
"Many thanks in advance..."

"I have a database which is accessed via the web.
"One feature of this is a form which has a button which generates a mailto window (mailto url).
"At the moment, the button contains the formula
"mailto:
"whilst I'd actually like to have mailto:someone where someone would be a field containing something like . I therefore want to execute the contents of a string such as "mailto:"+someone
"Does anyone know how this can be achieved?"
If you use Lotus Notes in your business, you may want to check this group out. Recommended.
