Here's a place where you can learn about UNIX and the range of specialties that this OS is the umbrella for, like Linux, FreeBSD, SunOS, and others.
If you want to chat with other people who are learning about UNIX, the precursor to the popular Linux OS, this is the place to go. The list isn't that old, and it isn't really that busy. But it is well populated enough that you could expect to receive an answer to your questions or a response to your well-versed comments.
