The Eagle Institute even has its own song, downloadable in MP3 format from the newsletter's companion Web site. Tom Hill is the head bird here, and he's big on self-improvement. But, the Eaglezine irritates one of my biggest pet peeves: misspelled words.
That's not to say that you won't find anything useful or valuable here. On the contrary, the Eaglezine is inspiring and uplifting. It's just that, when you're soaring high on some encouraging prose, it's like a pinprick in a balloon to come across "calander of events," or "together, we are comitted," or something similar.
The Eagle Institute has published a directory of members, and I can't quite figure out what they have in common. I am just cynical enough to figure that anytime you have an 'entrepreneurial group' come together in this manner, it must have something to do with network marketing. Sorry, I've been burned--what can I say?
I couldn't find anything pointing in that direction, though, so perhaps the Eaglezine is a good bet if you're looking for a reason to go on with life. Just listening to the theme song should be enough to keep you going for another week or two.
