24 HOUR BUZZ is an E-zine out of Midvale, Utah. From what I could see it has one and only one purpose, to act as a third-party distributor of other people's products. It is hosted on Angelfire, one of those places that offers free Web sites in exchange for advertising. So with little or no upfront investment the guy behind Cache Creek Direct plans to become a baron of e-commerce.
From the moment you click on the splash page there is no doubt in your mind what is going on here. You can order flowers, you can order greeting cards, you can order clothing. You can order.... You can order. That's the whole magillah here.
On their "ABOUT US" page it says:
"We operate our business from Midvale, Utah, in the beautiful State of Utah. We are located beneath the majestic snow-capped Wasatch mountain range, where coincidentally, the best skiing and best snow on Earth can be found! You'll regularly find our employees enjoying these mountains while skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or camping. If you'd like to take time to enjoy life and do the things you enjoy, check out our Web site and the products we feel will better your life whether it be personally or financially.
"We welcome you to our neck of the woods in hopes that we can help better yours.
"Our Goal
- Provide you with products that enhance your life at prices that are affordable.
- Satisfy YOU, our customer.
- Earn your repeat business."
I got the impression that these folks either read a book or Web site which said affiliate programs are the way to "Get Rich on the Internet!" Then they went out and signed up for every affiliate program they could find, and are now waiting for the checks to just start rolling in...
Somebody has to do it, I suppose.
