It was somewhat alarming to receive not one, not two, but FOUR e-mail messages upon signing up for this group. Not only that, but two of them contained attachments. Granted, they were only .jpgs, but it's just not good 'netiquette' to send attachments to a stranger.

Other than that little faux pas, the group seems to be a chatty, friendly place where members can post their latest creations. Beware of that if you have a slow connection. Here's a sample of the kind of conversation you'll find at the Tube Art list:

"Hello my name is Spirit. I signed up on the list about a week ago and then had tons of e-mail and service problems (go figure), now everything is working and I just downloaded the Unicorn tube. I want to be sure I am doing the right thing so first off the unicorn tube is the correct image right? Also I can use this tube in anyway that I want for the assignment? We can make what ever we like with it? I don't have the welcome message anymore and want to be sure I do the right thing also can we send other things to the list besides just our assignments??
