CHEAT INDEX EZINE is a new newsletter for gamers produced by the Cheat Index Web site. If you are a gamer, you already know that "cheats" are keyboard tricks, passwords and other secrets which allow you to master a video or computer game. They are those arcane tricks that allow you to get more weapons than you normally would on a given game level, or tell you how to bypass a particularly thorny trap.
If you're into gaming, you are probably into it for the transcendence. They are not into gaming for the challenge of appreciating either the elegance of the universe they have entered, the thrill of a great challenge, or the sense of accomplishment when emerging victorious. They have no honor. They are only into gaming to have gone through the experience of what's in the game, no matter how they accomplish it.
