Cheat Index Ezine
CHEAT INDEX EZINE is a new newsletter for gamers produced by the Cheat Index Web site. If you are a gamer, you already know that "cheats" are keyboard tricks, passwords and other secrets which allow you to master a video or computer game. They are those arcane tricks that allow you to get more weapons than you normally would on a given game level, or tell you how to bypass a particularly thorny trap.

If you're into gaming, you are probably into it for the transcendence. By that five dollar word, I mean that you game to move into "The Zone," that place where time is suspended and you are fully immersed in the universe of the game. Hours go by effortlessly. When you're fully in The Zone, riddles become fascinating but pliable to your intuition, with perseverance and pluck you can overcome any obstacle. You are "there."

It's this immersive experience that makes gamers so passionate and single-minded. There is nothing like the feeling of emerging victorious through your own efforts, skill, talent and daring.

But then there are *the other type* of gamers. You know who I mean. The guys who proudly tell you they completed all of Warcraft, or Myst, or Diablo in *three hours.* They brag that they didn't think that Soulblighter was so hard.

They think this will make you think they are a genius or the Alpha Gamer. But you and Tech Mailings Guy know the truth: these guys use cheats.

They are not into gaming for the challenge of appreciating either the elegance of the universe they have entered, the thrill of a great challenge, or the sense of accomplishment when emerging victorious. They have no honor. They are only into gaming to have gone through the experience of what's in the game, no matter how they accomplish it.

The Cheat Index Ezine will be heaven for this second group of gamers. You will find cheats for PlayStation, Nintendo 64, PCs, Dreamcast and more. The Webmaster claims that the site, launched in May of this year, is usually the first place or among the first to find new codes for games on all these platforms.

Here's the modest information provided about Cheat Index:

"Cheat Index was originally released to the public on May, 1999. It's growth is unprecedented in gaming history, growing 10-fold after it's first month of going public.

"Since then, this site has reached great heights. Though I am the sole owner of the site, I usually do the work of large staffs. Thanks to the support from my visitors and sponsors, I have managed to keep this site afloat and greatly prosperous. I thank you all!

" - HZ"

This is cheat heaven. Check it out.
